You'll see these two houses portrayed together in the mini paintings Bicyclist and the Red Door, The Red Door, and Neighborhood Row.

This piece comes with two adorable paper houses.  The yellow house is a vintage metal kit. The people, bicycle and the round blossoming tree were a Christmas present that I thought fit this scene perfectly. I added the paint job, the paper sky light, the handmade shrubbery around it, and the little white picket fence made of paper.

The white house with the Bicyclist and the Red Door is completely scratch built. It's ~3" tall with a handmade skylight, handmade shrubbery around it, and of course, the bicyclist, premade that I painted, sitting on the front step with his bike nearby.

The base is heavy card stock 6" x 6½".  This scene comes on a natural brown hand-made wood base with a hand-cut glass display case.

Total measurements are 7¼"wide x 7¼" deep x 6" high

Being an artist, I created these miniature houses as art, not as a professional miniature model. This work is an expression of my creative skill and imagination that can be appreciated for it's uniqueness.

Also, I'm happy to share the vision of a cleaner greener world by creating my art using re-purposed or recycled materials when possible. I built this piece from heavy art paper I won in a sample pack from an art show.
