My sister often complimented my depiction of water. So one summer I decided to dedicate a large canvas to the water of the Willamette River. Raising the horizon to the upper quarter gave me the composition. The entire canvas was done plein air from the upper deck of “Victory”

Kathy is a very large, original oil painting, with an artists studio slat frame.

The canvas is on an extra heavy, durable, artist made stretcher.
