My original sketch of this fanciful sailing junk harkens to my hippie past. I drew the ship in ink then I transfer the image onto sublimation paper. Next, I hand paint each 'Peace Junk' individually with an ink wash. Every 'Peace Junk' is painted slightly different than the others. Next, I heat transfer the painting onto a ceramic tile.
The calligraphy letter on the sail means "Peace".
