In this painting I have integrated invented metaphor into an extended plein air painting. Some of the occurrences and objects seen are fictional. I am using these fictional elements in a real setting as my means of introspection while being true to my direction. I still keep my palette basic and representative, strictly rendering, rather than pushing into the direction I want them, into interpretive expressionism.

Pink House is an original oil painting, with an artists studio frame.

The canvas is on a heavy, durable, artist made stretcher.
