Red House, scratch built paper house
This is a scratch built miniature house portrayed in the mini paintings Red House Landscape, Red House Back Door, and Red House Front Door.
Being an artist, I created this miniature house as art, not as a professional miniature model. This work is an expression of my creative skill and imagination that can be appreciated for it's uniqueness.
I'm happy to share the vision of a cleaner greener world by creating my art using re-purposed or recycled materials when possible. I built this piece from heavy paper I won in a sample pack from an art show.
This paper house is on a 7¼"wide x 6"deep heavy card stock.
The house includes one one big tree, cedars and bushes around the house, all scratch made.
There's a small blossoming tree in front that I didn't make, it was part of a Christmas present that also came with the two figures you see on the steps - one is standing near the front door, and one on the back doorsteps.
The house itself has two chimneys and a widows walk on the roof that has a tiny hand cut paper railing.
The house itself is 5¼" wide, 5½" deep, and 4" high.
This scene comes on a natural brown hand-made wood base with an artist made (that's me), glass display case. 11"wide x 8" deep x 6½" high.
